Thompson, a McLean, Va., kicked off the outdoor season with a pair of strong showings in the sprints at the Coach O Coastal Carolina Invitational.  Thompson finished seventh in the 100-meter dash, posting a time of 0:10.98 to lead all NCAA D-III competitors in the event.  He did the same in the 200-meter dash, placing 15th overall in 0:22.20.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Track Events Honor Roll

Josephus Mitchell, Guilford (Jr. - Sprints)
Mitchell ran 0:11.10 in the 100-meter dash at the Seahawk Invitational.  That placed eighth overall.  He also anchored the 4x100-meter relay registered a school-record time of 0:43.57.

Tyler Timblin, Lynchburg (Sr. - Distance)
Timblin competed in the mile and 5,000-meter runs at the Seahawk Invitational.  He placed second in the 5,000 in 15:24.23 and fifth in the mile at 4:26.56.
