Julian Douglas, Lynchburg, Sr., Jumps/Sprints

Douglas, a senior from Lynchburg, Va., competed in both field and track events at the Dr. Jack Toms Invitational hosted by the University of Lynchburg over the weekend. Douglas dominated in the long jump, winning the event with a new personal-best and event-winning mark of 7.07 meters (23-2.50). The leap is more than two-feet longer than the next ODAC competitor on the season chart. It also ranks third in NCAA Division III. Douglas also competed in the 100-meter dash and 4x100-meter relay. He finished second in the 100m dash in 11.11 seconds. He joined teammates Zashon Brown-Flowers, London Diggs, and Ryan Fore in placing third in the 4x100-relay in 42.36 seconds. That time is second in the ODAC and ninth in the country.
