Isaac Alderfer, Eastern Mennonite, Jr., Mid-Distance

Alderfer, a junior from Broadway, Va., continues to put together a strong track season in the mid-distance events with two national caliber race victories at the WildCat Track Festival hosted by Randolph College. Alderfer won the 1,500-meter run in 3:52.47, which tops the ODAC rankings and sits third in NCAA Division III. It also snapped the Eastern Mennonite record, previously set by Tyler Denlinger in 2016 at 3:53.68, and cleared his own personal-best time by seven seconds. Alderfer also won the 800-meter run in 1:53.86, which sits second in the conference and 14th in the country. It ranks fourth in EMU history.
