Kimberly Brady, Shenandoah, Fr., Outfielder

Brady, a freshman from Gainesville, Va., helped the Hornets to a 4-0 week that included sweeps of Stevenson and Emory & Henry.  Brady hit .438 on a 7-of-16 showing from the dish with two doubles, three homers and four runs batted in.  She also scored five runs.  In a doubleheader sweep of Emory & Henry, Brady went 4-for-9 with three homers, four RBI and four runs scored.  She had a double in each game against Stevenson, racking up three hits in seven at-bats against the Mustangs.  For the season.  Brady is hitting .436 with 34 hits in 78 at-bats.  She has nine doubles on the season.

Softball Player Honor Roll

Sarah Cutright, Guilford - (Sr, C - Roanoke, Va., 11)
Cutright hit .429 (6-for-14) with a double, five RBI and two runs scored in during a pair of doubleheader splits with Lynchburg and Emory & Henry.  She had three hits in four at-bats in game one against E&H, which included her 10th double of the year and a pair of RBI.  She  moved into fifth place on Guilford's career hits list and sixth in career doubles and RBI.

Cassie Phillips, Lynchburg - (Senior, P - Ashburn, VA, 19)
Phillips paced the Hornet offense to a 4-2 week in ODAC play. She hit .389 with a slugging percentage of .611 and a team-high seven RBI. Phillips went 2-for-3 in LC's win over Roanoke on Sunday in the Maroons first ODAC loss.  She had a double and three RBI in that contest.  She also hit a homer last week, coming in a 3-2 loss to Guilford in game two of a doubleheader.

Jessica Sanabria, Randolph - (So, P - Burgaw. NC, 8)
Sanabria went 4-for-11 in the WildCats 2-2 week, which featured a sweep of Eastern Mennonite.  She had three hits against the Royals, including a double and a homer to account for three RBI over those two contests.

Leona Rainey, Roanoke - (Sr, OF - Sandston, VA, 6)
Rainey went 5-for-13 in Roanoke's 3-1 week with a double, homer and three runs scored.  She also stole three bases.  In game one of a doubleheader sweep at Randolph, Rainey went 3-for-4 with a homer and a stolen base.  She also had one hit in each game of a split with Lynchburg.

Andrea Shannon, Va. Wesleyan - (Jr, SS - Newville, Pa., 2)
Shannon went 6-for-13 last week with a RBI and three runs scored.  Her lone RBI was a big one as it drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 3-2 win over Bridgewater.  She had two hits in that game.  Earlier in the week, she went 3-for-3 in the second game against Eastern Mennonite.  VWC swept doubleheaders from both EMU and BC.
