Hannah Bays, Emory & Henry, Sr., Outfielder

Bays, a senior from Abingdon, Va., went 6-for-8 with two homers in a sweep of Shenandoah on Saturday. She went 3-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored in a 9-7 win in game one. She then belted both homers as part of a second 3-for-4 effort in an 11-3 win in game two. She drove in four runs and scored three times.  She now owns the E&H record for career homeruns with 24.  For the season, Bays is .302 with a .458 slugging percentage.  She has hit three homers and driven in 23 runs.

Softball Player Honor Roll

Brianna Cox, Bridgewater (Sr. - DP)
Cox went 7-for-13 last week, collecting nine RBI and scoring four runs in the Eagles 2-2 week. She registered two doubles and two RBI in a game one win (7-0) over SVU, and then doubled again with a homer and seven RBI to go with three runs scored in a 17-0 game two victory.

Aislinn Lucas, Eastern Mennonite (Sr. - OF)
Lucas went 5-for-7 in a non-conference split at McDaniel. She homered and drove in three runs while scoring two in a 13-4 win in game one. He had three hits in game two (L, 9-5).

Laura Hall, Guilford (So. - OF)
Hall went 4-for-4 in the Quakers sweep of Bridgewater. She drove in a run and scored once in a 4-2 win in game one, and then drove in a second run with two scored in a 15-0 victory in game two.  She added three stolen bases over the two contests.

Amy Bresson, Lynchburg (Sr. - OF)
Bresson went 9-for-13 as Lynchburg played to a pair of splits with Mary Washington and Randolph-Macon. She was 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and a run scored against Mary Washington (3-1, 5-6).  She then went 5-for-8 against R-MC (5-8, 9-4) with two more doubles and a run driven in over the two contests.

Madison Gilman, Randolph-Macon (Sr. - C)
Gilman went 2-for-4 in both games of a doubleheader split (8-5, 4-9) against Lynchburg.  She homered once and drove in a pair of runs in each game, also adding a run scored in both contests.  She now has 11 homers on the season, tying for first in the ODAC.

Kimberly Brady, Shenandoah (Sr. - OF)
Brady went 10-for-20 in the Hornets 0-6 showing last week.  Four of her hits went for extra bases, all coming at Emory & Henry. She had a double and two homers to go with two RBI and three runs scored in a 9-7 setback in game one.  She doubled again in the second game (L, 11-3). She went 3-for-5 with four RBI in an 8-7 loss to Randolph to cap her week.
