Campbell, a junior from Broadway, Va., allowed just one hit and no runs in 11.1 combined innings of work as Eastern Mennonite kicked off its season with a doubleheader split at Southern Virginia University. In game one, Campbell tossed the first seven-inning no-hitter by a Royals' pitcher in more than a decade on the way to a 3-0 victory. She walked one batter and fanned a career-best 11 batters. Campbell returned to the circle with a scoreless relief appearance to close game two, a 5-1 SVU victory. She gave up hit and walked one while striking out four more Knights in 4.1 innings of work.
