Danny Lynch, Washington and Lee, Jr.

Lynch, a junior from Richmond, Va., picks up his second weekly award of the season with a quartet of strong swims despite Washington and Lee's 178-79 setback against nationally ninth-ranked Carnegie Mellon. Lynch won the 200-yard individual medley in 1:59.38, which is second in the ODAC only to his previous season-best mark (1:57.81). He is the only conference swimmer to crack the two-minute mark in the event this season. Lynch placed second in the 100-yard backstroke in 0:52.93, against second-best in the league to himself (0:52.53). He also finished fourth in the 200-yard backstroke in 1:59.52. That is second in the conference to his previous season-best showing (1:55.52). He is the only ODAC swimmer to record a sub-2:00 time in the event this year. Lynch swam the lead leg on the Generals' 200-yard medley relay team, which placed third in 1:35.87, the fastest time in the ODAC this year.
