Caroline Baber, Washington and Lee, So.

Baber, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., is off to a fast start in her second season in Lexington as she helped lead the Generals to a dual meet victory over Mary Washington and first place at the ODAC Relays over the weekend. Baber, last season's ODAC Women's Rookie of the Meet, won the 200-yard IM in 2:12.00 and finished second in the 50-yard freestyle in 0:25.29 as Washington and Lee topped UMW, 146-120, to give head coach Kami Gardner her 100th career dual meet victory. Baber also joined her teammates for a second place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:37.89. At the ODAC Relays, Baber contributed to five winning swims as she and her Generals' teammates won the 3x50 breastroke (1:35.61), 3x50-yard butterfly (1:19.05), 200-yard freestyle (1:39.50), 400-yard freestyle (3:39.62), and 3x100-yard IM (3:05.79) relays.
