Madaris, a junior from Acworth, Ga., picks up the Wasps first-ever ODAC Men's Swimmer of the Week honor after helping Emory & Henry to a 104-7 dual meet victory over Ferrum. Madaris won three times individually, including a back-to-back effort in winning the 100-meter backstroke (1:15.96) and the 400-meter freestyle (5:17.00). He also claimed the 200-meter individual medley (2:44.71). Madaris participated in one relay. He and his teammates posted an exhibition time of 2:08.89 in the 200-meter medley relay, which would have been fast enough to win the event.
