Sweigart, a junior from Bridgewater, Va., kicked off her season with a pair of individual event victories and one relay win to help Emory & Henry to a 109-69 triumph over Ferrum. Sweigart won the 200-meter individual medley (2:47.15) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:09.72). She swam as an exhibition competitor in the 100-meter breaststroke, posting a time of 1:23.98 that would have been fast enough to win the event. Sweigart immediately followed her participation in the 100-breaststroke by swimming the anchor leg in E&H's winning 200-meter freestyle relay (2:09.51).
