Brynn Martinson, Washington and Lee, Jr.

Martinson, a junior from Charlotte, N.C., continued her strong start to the season with three strong individual swims that featured times second only to her own ODAC seasonal-best marks of the season. She also helped Washington and Lee improve upon its already conference-leading time in a relay. In a showdown with nationally 12th-ranked Carnegie Mellon, Martinson won the 50-yard freestyle in 0:24.11. She added second place showings in the 100-yard (0:53.12) and 200-yard (1:57.63) freestyle events. Martinson was joined by teammates Bella Tarbet, Myla Rice, and Faith Sconing in posting a new ODAC top time in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:40.19, good for third in the event.
