Burkholder, a junior from Bridgewater, Virgnia, turned in another strong week, capped off by her 31 point career high outing on Sunday at Emory & Henry. Burkholder kicked the week off with a 17 point game at Virginia Wesleyan before turning around and netting 19 on Thursday at Mary Baldwin. On Saturday for BC's WBCA PinkZone game, Burkholder notched just seven points against Randolph. Sunday's game at Emory & Henry saw Burkholder pour in a career-high 31, eclipsing her former high of 29 points, also scored against the Wasps. The junior now is in sixth place on the all-time BC points list with 1,234 points. She also 21 rebounds, 21 steals, 10 assists and seven blocks over the four games played.
