Emma Redding, Washington and Lee, So., Forward

Redding, a sophomore from Allentown, Pa., proved a strong two-way player last week as she helped the Generals leap-frog Eastern Mennonite to gain the fourth seed and a first round bye in the upcoming ODAC Tournament.  Redding kicked off her week with 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists and five blocked shots in a 67-42 triumph at Shenandoah.  She was 5-of-6 from the field, a trend that would continue on into her second game.  In that contest, Redding was 8-of-9 shooting twoards 18 points with six rebounds, an assist, a steal, and three more blocked shots in a 73-56 victory over EMU.  Overally, Redding shot 86.7-percent (13-of-15) from the field for the week.  For the season, she's averaging 8.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.  She's second in the ODAC with 31 blocked shots, and is fifth in field goal shooting (85-of-161) at 52.8-percent.
