    Williams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., put the finishing touches on one of the most productive regular seasons in ODAC history with 22nd and 23rd double-doubles of the season as well as he ninth 20-point 20-rebound outing. The latter milestone came in her first game of the week as Williams dropped in 20 points with 20 rebounds --  including eight via the offensive glass -- in a 61-49 win over Lynchburg. She was 7-of-13 from the field and 6-of-10 from the line. She added two assists and two blocked shots to her line. Williams then helped the Yellow Jackets secure the second seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament with 24 points and 17 rebounds in a 68-62 victory at Roanoke. She added four assists and four blocked shots to give her an ODAC-best 97 on the season. Williams also leads the league in scoring (25.8), overall points (619), field goals made (232), free throws made (154), and all rebounding categories -- offensive (159), defensive (276), total (435), and average (18.1).

    Wiliams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., reached a new level in the Yellow Jackets 1-1 week as she averaged 36.0 points, 16.0 rebounds, and 5.0 blocked shots while shooing 70.7-percent from the field in the two outings. Williams opened the week with her eighth 20-point 20-rebound performance of the season in a 98-79 victory over Bridgewater. She was 11-of-15 (.733) from the field and 5-of-8 from the line on the way to 27 points to go with 20 rebounds. She added five assists and five blocked shots to her line. In a 98-82 setback at Guilford, Williams tied the NCAA Division III single-game high for points and field goals made this season with 45 points on 18-of-26 from the field. She was 8-of-10 from the line and buried her first three-pointer of the year. She added 12 rebounds for her 21st double-double in 22 games, and chipped in five blocked shots and two assists. Her 45 points are the most scored by an ODAC player in the last 12 seasons and set a new R-MC school-record. Williams is currently Division III in scoring (26.1) and is second in rebounding (18.1). She leads the ODAC in total points (575), double-doubles (21), blocked shots (96), field goals made (217), and free throws made (140).

    Wiliams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., is back returns to the player of the week ranks after averaging 23.0 points, 18.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 4.5 blocked shots in the Yellow Jackets 1-1 week. Williams opened with 24 points and 13 rebounds for her 18th double-double of the season in a 62-56 victory at Virginia Wesleyan. She added four blocked shots and steal while also going 10-of-13 from the foul line. Williams then posted her eighth 20-rebound game, seventh 20-20 outing, and NCAA Division III-leading 19th double-double with 22 points and 23 rebounds in an 84-77 setback against Emory & Henry. She shot 7-of-8 from the field and chipped in four assists, three steals, and five blocked shots. Williams leads the ODAC in scoring (25.1), total points (503), and all rebounding categories -- per game (18.3), offensive (133), defensive (233), and total boards (366). She is also #1 in field goals made (188), free throws made (127), and blocked shots (81).

    Woods, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., helped the Yellow Jackets secure two more victories to run their winning streak to six straight games with a pair of double-doubles against ODAC foes. Woods opened with 17 points and 15 rebounds in a 68-62 victory over Shenandoah, leveling the season-series between the two teams. She was 8-of-15 from the field and chipped in two assists and two steals. Of her 15 rebounds, 10 came via the offensive glass and helped Randolph-Macon to 22 second-chance points. In a 73-43 victory over Roanoke, Woods registered 18 points and 15 more rebounds. She was 7-of-13 from the field and 4-of-6 from the stripe, adding in three assists to her line. She again pulled down 10 offensive boards, helped R-MC to 20 second-chance points. She was especially effective in the second quarter with six points and six boards to help R-MC to a 10-point lead at the half. For the season, Woods is second in the ODAC in rebounding (11.2) and averages 9.9 points per game. She is second in total offensive rebounds (107) and overall rebounds (201). She is third in the league with eight double-doubles.

    Williams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., returns to the player of the week spotlight for a fifth time this season after leading Randolph-Macon to a pair of ODAC victories. The second win, a 71-59 decision at league-leading Lynchburg, marked the 600th career triumph for head coach Carroll LaHaye. It also put R-MC into a three-way tie for first place in the ODAC table at 6-2 in conference games. Williams opened her week with 21 points and 16 rebounds in a 67-40 win at Randolph College. She added two assists and blocked shot in 26 minutes of action. Williams went a full 40 minutes at Lynchburg, pouring in 35 points with 15 rebounds, four assists, four blocked shots, and three steals. She was 13-of-20 from the field and 9-of-9 from the line. She finished the week 20-of-36 (.556) fro the field and 16-of-19 (.842) from the stripe. For the season, Williams leads the ODAC in scoring (24.6), total points scored (394), field goals made (150), rebounding (18.4), total rebounds (295), and blocked shots (66). She is second in free throws made (94) and third in field goal percentage (.512). Williams leads NCAA Division III in scoring, rebounding, and blocked shots per game (4.13). Her 15 double-doubles top the ODAC and are second in the country.
  • Kara Stafford, Emory & Henry, So., Forward

    Stafford, a sophomore from Bristol, Tenn., helped the Wasps to a pair of ODAC wins to move them into a five-team logjam for second place in the league table at 4-2 in ODAC play. Stafford shot better than 57-percent for the week, beginning with a 6-of-10 showing from the field that included 3-of-4 from deep on the way to 19 points in an 83-69 win over Guilford. She was 4-of-4 from the stripe and chipped in four rebounds, an assist, and a blocked shot. Stafford was 6-of-11 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line towards 17 points in an 84-74 victory over Bridgewater. She pulled down eight rebounds, including five via the offensive glass, and dished out three assists. For the season, Stafford is averaging 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. She is second in the league in free throw percentage (.885; 46-of-52) and sixth in free throws made (46).
  • Olivia DeFrancesco, Lynchburg, Sr., Guard

    DeFrancesco, a senior from Greensboro, N.C., put together a pair of strong outings in helping Lynchburg to a pair of road wins last week, extending the Hornets winning streak to five straight contests. LC is now tied atop the ODAC standings with four other teams at 3-1 in conference play. The Hornets boast the league's best overall record at 11-2. DeFrancesco opened with 13 points aided by a trio of three-pointers in a 56-35 victory at Randolph. She added seven rebounds with an assist and a steal. DeFrancesco ticked up her production several notches in a 78-70 win at Bridgewater as she had a hand in generating 41 points of offense. She nailed four three-pointers as part of a 6-for-7 shooting performance on the way to 19 points. She added 10 assists for her first double-double of the season. It also marked just the ninth time in program history that one Lynchburg player has recorded 10 or more assists in a game. She chipped in four rebounds, and steal and a blocked shot. For the season, DeFrancesco is averaging 8.6 points per game. She is second in the league in assists (67), third in minutes played (434), and seventh in three-pointers made (20).

    Williams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., continues to post eye-popping numbers in leading Randolph-Macon to a pair of victories over the Holidays. The Yellow Jackets are now an ODAC-best 9-1 on the season and on the cusp of cracking the Top-25 poll from D3hoops.com. Williams averaged 21.5 points, 19.5 rebounds, and 7.0 blocked shots in the two games at the Cruzin Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She registered 21 points and 17 rebounds in a 70-63 victory over Lycoming. She added five blocked shots and four assists. In a 71-64 overtime victory over Johnson Hopkins, Williams nearly posted a unorthodox triple-double in a full 45 minutes on the court. She scored 22 points and pulled down 22 rebounds to go with nine blocked shots, three assists, and two steals. Five of her blocked shots came in the fourth period. That contest marked her sixth 20-point 20-rebound game of the season. Williams leads NCAA Division III in rebounding (19.6) and blocked shots per game(4.5), second in total blocked shots (45), third in total rebounds (196), and sixth in scoring (23.9).

    Williams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., picks up her third weekly award of the season after leading Randolph-Macon to a 68-52 victory over Lawrence in the first of two games at the Cruzin Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Williams registered her fifth game of at least 20 points and 20 rebounds as she scored 22 points and pulled down 22 boards. She was 8-of-15 from the field and 6-of-9 from the foul line. Eight of her rebounds came via the offensive glass. She added four blocked shots, two steals, and an assist to her stat line. For the season, Williams leads NCAA Division III in rebounding (19.3) and is second in scoring (24.9) and blocked shots per game (3.9).
  • Lauren Ramsey, Guilford, Sr., Guard

    Ramsey, a senior from Lexington, N.C., put together a pair of strong efforts to help the Quakers run their ODAC-best winning streak to six games with two more victories last week. Ramsey opened with a game-high 22 points in a 77-75 overtime victory over Oglethorpe. Ramsey made the layup to put the Quakers up for good with 44-seconds to play in the extra period. She added six rebounds and three assists to her stat line. Ramsey then helped the Quakers move to 2-0 in ODAC play by tying for game-high honors with teammate Miracle Walters with 18 points in a 62-49 win at Virginia Wesleyan. She shook off a 4-of-13 shooting day from the field by canning 9-of-10 from the stripe and pulling down 11 rebounds for her second career double-double. She added a game-best six assists and three steals. For the season, Ramsey is sixth in the ODAC in scoring (16.0) and seventh in points scored (112). She is third in minutes played (35.1) and total assists (32) and seventh in steals (15) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5).
  • Caroline Naumann, Lynchburg, Sr., Forward

    Naumann, a senior from Mechanicsville, Va., helped the Hornets to a trio of wins last week with a pair of double-doubles and two 30-point outings. Naumann opened her week with 14 points and five rebounds with two steals in a 61-49 win over Ferrum. She then exploded for 30 points on 7-of-13 from the field and 15-of-17 from the foul line in a 64-54 victory over Virginia Wesleyan. She added 11 rebounds, three steals, and pair of assists. Naumann then set a new career-high for a second straight game with 35 points and 13 rebounds in an 87-63 triumph at William Peace. She was 16-of-27 from the field and chipped in three assists and three steals. Nine of her 13 boards came via the offensive glass. For the season, Naumann is first in free throws made (45) and steals (17), while ranking second in scoring (21.1), total points (148), field goals made (50), defensive rebounds (51), and total rebounds (75). She is third in minutes played (229) and offensive boards (24).

    Williams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., stayed red-hot in the Yellow Jackets lone game of the week, helping Randolph-Macon to a 72-71 win over The Apprentice School to improve to 3-1. Williams went for 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field. She added 22 rebounds (10 offensive) to mark her third game of at least 20 points and 20 rebounds this season. She also notched two assists and three blocked shots, the last of which came with 0:03 on the fourth period clock to preserve the one-point victory. Williams currently leads the ODAC in scoring (25.8), rebounding (21.8), field goals made (40), blocked shots (16), and all total rebounding categories --- offensive (36), defensive (51), overall (87). She is second in total points scored (103) and third in free throws made (23).

    Williams, a sophomore from Garysburg, N.C., was nothing short of spectacular in three games to open the season as she averaged 26.7 points, 21.7 rebounds and 4.3 blocked shots in a 2-1 showing for Randolph-Macon. Williams dropped a career-high 34 points on 11-of-18 shooting and 12-of-16 from the line in a 78-73 upset of 14th-ranked Marymount (Va.). She added 22 rebounds with nine via the offensive glass, and also blocked six shots. In a 65-62 setback to Juniata, Williams registered 21 points despite an off shooting day (8-of-26). She grabbed 25 rebounds (9 offensive) and blocked three shots. She capped her R-MC Tip-Off Classic MOP performance with 25 points and 18 boards (8 offensive) and four blocked shots.
