    Washington and Lee University, winner of 13 consecutive ODAC championships, collected a league-high nine all-conference honors in addition to three special individual laurels to headline the 2023 All-ODAC Women's Lacrosse Awards. Generals defender Eugenie Rovegno repeats as the ODAC Defensive Player of the Year, while teammate and attacker Allie Schwab earned ODAC Offensive Player of the Year accolades. First-year W&L mentor Maddie Coleman received ODAC Coach of the Year recognition from her peers. Attacker Lilly Fowler is the second straight ODAC Rookie of the Year for Randolph-Macon College. Roanoke College attacker Lilly Blair garnered her second straight ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year award from the conference's athletic communications personnel.

  • Generals Lead Eight Team Field in New ODAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament Format

    Washington and Lee University last lost an ODAC regular season game more than a decade ago as the Generals command the top seed in the upcoming ODAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament following a 10th straight unbeaten run (8-0) through their league slate. Washington and Lee, ranked second in Division III by the IWLCA, is joined by nationally 16th-ranked Roanoke College (7-1) with byes through the first two rounds of play as top two seeds in the conference's new tournament format.

  • Averett's Peasley Breaks NCAA Division III Record for Goals Scored

    The sixth-year graduate student broke the NCAA Division III women's lacrosse record for career goals on Wednesday night, scoring nine goals in Averett University women's lacrosse's 19-1 win over Guilford College to give her 371 goals for her career.

  • Generals Perched Atop ODAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll

    For the second straight season, 12-time defending conference champion Washington and Lee University returns nine starters to its roster that each earned All-ODAC recognition a season ago. That provides for the fuel for the Generals to yet again stand atop the ODAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll as we prepare for the 2023 campaign. Washington and Lee collected 10 first place votes on the way to an even 100 points at the top of the table. Roanoke College, runner-up last year for the third straight season, garnered the remaining top nod to power an 89-point haul in second place. Shenandoah University rounds out the top-three with 82 markers.
