Liz Bereit, Shenandoah, Sr., Midfielder

Bereit, a senior from Latrobe, Pa., put together a 12-point week with some clutch scoring to help the Hornets two a pair of victories and remain in the hunt for a top seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament.  Bereit scored once and dished out three assists in Shenandoah's 10-9 triumph over Bridgewater.  She added two draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls.  SU needed overtime to defeat Virginia Wesleyan, 17-16, and it was Bereit that come up with the winning goal with 1:05 to play in the extra period.  She scored six goals in all, dishing out a pair of assists.  she added six draw controls, five ground balls and a caused turnover.  For the season, Bereit is third in the ODAC in points (65) and goals scored (47), and ranks fifth in assists (18).

Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Caroline Augsburger, Bridgewater (Sr., D - Lancaster, Pa.)
Augsburger had an assist with three casued turnovers and three ground balls in a 10-9 loss to Shenandoah.  She followed with four caused turnovers, including a key knock-away that led to the game-winner in SU's 8-7 overtime win over Guilford.

Marina Bailey, Guilford (Jr., M - Rockville, Md.)
Bailey scored four times with two assists, three draws and three ground balls in a 19-10 win at Randolph.  She added a goal and an assist iwth three draws and four ground balls in an 8-7 overtime loss to Bridgewater.

Janelle Whitman, Randolph-Macon (Jr. M - Silver Spring, Md.)
Whitman helped R-MC to wins over Virginia Wesleyan (15-10) and Roanoke (12-10).  She scored once with an assist, seven draw controls and five ground balls at VWC, and then found the back of the cage six times with five draw controls against Roanoke.

Claire Feeney, Roanoke (Jr., M - Old Greenwich, Conn.)
Feeney helped RC to a 1-1 week.  She scored five times with three assists in a 14-7 triumph at Lynchburg.  She then followed with four goals and a helper in a 12-10 setback at Randolph-Macon.

Megan Schallock, Virginia Wesleyan (Fr., M - Waukesha, Wis.)
In an 0-2 week for VWC, Schallock notched 15 points and collected 19 draws to go with seven ground balls.  In a 15-10 loss to Randolph-Macon, she scored four times with two assists, adding seven draw controls and five ground balls.  She followed with eight goals and an assist in a 17-16 overtime loss to Shenandoah.  She had 12 draw controls in the game, giving her 89 for the season a new VWC record. 

Olivia Sisson, Washington and Lee (So., M - Great Falls, Va.)
Sisson scored a career-high eight goals with four draw controls in the 11th-ranked Generals 21-1 win over Randolph.  The eight goals are the third most in a single-game in program history.
