Jess Castelo, Washington and Lee, Sr., Attack

Castelo, a senior from Red Bank, N.J., exploded for a career-high 11-point outing in the nationally 11th-ranked Generals 24-9 victory over Lynchburg. Castelo tied her collegiate-best with six goals to go with a new personal-high five assists. Leading by just one at 9-8 at the half, Washington and Lee out-scored Lynchburg 15-1 in the second half with Castelo contributing to five of those tallies with three goals and two assists. She added three ground balls and a caused turnover for the game. On the season, Castelo leads the Generals and is seventh in the ODAC with 39 points and 27 goals and 12 assists.

Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Kristen Stark, BC: scored four goals and dished out an assist to go with three ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 15-11 win over Roanoke.

Alex Lightfoot, R-MC: opened her 11-point week with one goal and four assists to go with three ground balls in a 17-13 victory at Roanoke. Followed with one goal and five helpers in a 19-6 victory over Guilford. Moved into second in program history and fourth in the ODAC record books with 153 career assists.

Alyson Bittinger, SU: registered five goals and pulled down three draws with two ground balls in a 15-5 triumph over Virginia Wesleyan.
