Sarah Perry, Randolph, Jr., Midfielder

Sarah Perry, Randolph, Jr., Midfielder

Perry, a junior from Rocky Mount, Va., etched her name in both the Randolph and ODAC record books as she helped the WildCats open the season in winning fashion. Perry set a new Randolph record with 11 goals scored in a 19-16 victory over N.C. Wesleyan. The 11 points are also a new school mark, both of which were owned by Taylor Klemenz. Perry's new WildCat record also matches the ODAC standard for goals in a game as she is the sixth player to beat the keeper that many times in a contest. The last to do it was Virginia Wesleyan's Ann Marie Nash in 2003. Perry registered her 11 goals on 13 overall shots including 12 on-goal. She added four ground balls, four caused turnovers, and 14 draw controls to her line.
