Bridgewater's Randolph, Van Horn Lead All-ODAC Women's Soccer AwardsMay 07, 2021Conference champion Bridgewater College collected a league-best eight all-conference accolades in addition to a pair of special individual honors to headline the 2020-21 All-ODAC Women's Soccer Awards. Eagles' midfielder Hanna Randolph earned ODAC Player of the Year plaudits, while BC mentor Mike Van Horn received ODAC Coach of the Year distinction from his peers. Roanoke College forward Morgan O'Neill garnered ODAC Rookie of the Year honors, and Randolph-Macon College forward Casey Kent took home ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete laurels from the conference's athletic communications personnel.

ODAC Champion! Bridgewater Wins its First ODAC Women's Soccer TitleApril 11, 2021Third time is a charm for Bridgewater College women's soccer! The Eagles captured their first ODAC women's soccer title in their third appearance in an ODAC championship game on Sunday afternoon in Lexington. Collecting the league hardware did not come easy as second-seeded Bridgewater and top-seeded Washington and Lee University went to penalty kicks to determine the 2020-21 conference champion following 110 minutes of scoreless play thru regulation and two overtime periods. Bridgewater (11-1) made each of its first four penalty kicks thanks to scoring efforts from Emily York, Hanna Randolph, Skyler Daum, and Lindsey Winkels. Washington and Lee saw two of its efforts go off either post, resulting in a 4-2 shoot-off result for the Eagles.

ODAC Women's Soccer Tournament | 8-Team Bracket AnnouncedApril 04, 2021The first ODAC spring women's soccer tournament features a second straight unbeaten team as the field's top seed. Washington and Lee University marched thru its conference slate with an unblemished 7-0 record as part of an 8-0 overall campaign. The Generals enter as the #1 seed in the eight-team field as they go in search of a fifth league crown. Bridgewater College sits second in the bracket following Saturday's result against W&L. Roanoke College locked up third position with its win over the University of Lynchburg also on Saturday. Virginia Wesleyan University rounds out the top-four seeds in fourth position.

NCAA Announces Four-Year Championship Hosting AssignmentsOctober 14, 2020The City of Salem has long been touted as "Virginia's Championship City" for its history of hosting NCAA championship events in conjunction with the ODAC. There will be plenty of additional evidence to back up that moniker over the next half-decade.
