Marshall, a senior from Arlington, Va., helped the Generals get their season started off on the right off by going 4-0 during a pair of Washington and Lee team victories. In a 9-0 victory over Roanoke, Marshall joined Gabi Moss for an 8-0 win over Lucy Collins and Halle Fernstrum at #1 doubles. She then won 6-0, 6-0, over Collins in #1 singles play. In a 9-0 triumph over Emory & Henry, Marshall and Claire Lacksen partnered for an 8-1 win over Cailie Pollard and Sarah Marion at #3 doubles. Marshall then defeated Tess Flanigan, 6-1, 6-1, at #2 singles.
