BCs Hermes, Heishman Win Volleyball Top HonorsNovember 05, 2007Bridgewater College senior Marsha Hermes and Eagles head coach Mary Frances Heishman earned the ODACs Player of the Year and Coach of the Year awards in the annual All-ODAC volleyball voting. Virginia Wesleyan Colleges Rebecca Leedom won the sports Rookie of the Year award, and Randolph-Macon Colleges Michelle Kutcher was tabbed as the ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Randolph College earned the Team Sportsmanship Award.

Generals Claim 11th ODAC TitleNovember 03, 2007The Washington and Lee volleyball team defeated first-seeded Bridgewater, 30-22, 30-19, 30-18, in the finals of the 2007 ODAC Championship to win its seventh-straight conference title on Saturday at Hollins University. The Generals advanced to the finals after a 30-14, 30-17, 30-25 triumph over sixth-seeded Randolph-Macon in the morning semifinal match.

Washington & Lee Tops Volleyball Preseason PollAugust 30, 2007Washington & Lee University received nine first place votes and 118 overall tallies as the Generals sit atop the 2007 ODAC Volleyball Preseason Poll. Bridgewater College picked up one first place nod and 106 total votes for second place, and Randolph-Macon also garnered a top spot consideration as well as 104 votes from the conference coaches.
