  • Bridgewater's Studtmann Named Academic All-American by CoSIDA
    December 13, 2017
    Brigewater College middle blocker Carleigh Studtmann added to her list of honors on Wednesday afternoon as he was named a Third Team Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Studtmann pairs this laurel with back-to-back ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete awards.
  • Randolph-Macon's Hall Leads ODAC List of AVCA All-Americans

    Randolph-Macon College outside hitter Miranda Hall was tabbed a Third Team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Tuesday, leading a list of three athletes that earned All-America distinction.
  • Randolph-Macon Falls to Swarthmore in NCAA Volleyball First Round

    Randolph-Macon came in ranked as the #4 seed in the Owings Mills Regional, but failed to overcome their opponent, the #5 seeded Swarthmore Garnet. The loss ends Randolph-Macon's 2017 campaign with a 23-7 overall record.
  • Randolph-Macon Travels to Stevenson for NCAA Division III Volleyball Regional Play

    For the third straight season, Randolph-Macon College will serve as the ODAC's lone representative in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament. The Yellow Jackets learned of their regional play location and first round opponent on Monday afternoon, with R-MC making the trip to Stevenson University along with six other programs in an eight-team pod.
  • Five Yellow Jackets Headline All-ODAC Volleyball Awards

    Randolph-Macon College collected a league-best five honors plus two special individual awards to headline the 2017 All-ODAC Volleyball Awards. Yellow Jackets' outside hitter Miranda Hall earned ODAC Player of the Year laurels, while R-MC mentor Bill Rogers picked up ODAC Coach of the Year accolades. Washington and Lee University middle blocker Courtney Berry was tabbed the ODAC Rookie of the Year, while Bridgewater College middle hitter Carleigh Studtmann received ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete recognition.
  • Randolph-Macon Tops Washington and Lee for Title in Five-Set Thriller

    For the second time this season, it took five sets to decide a winner between Randolph-Macon College and Washington and Lee University. Saturday's affair happened to be for a piece of hardware as the Yellow Jackets lifted their third straight and sixth overall ODAC volleyball trophy with a 3-2 victory over the Generals in Ashland.

  • ODAC Sets Eight-Team Volleyball Tournament Field

    Randolph-Macon College's run of unbeaten regular seasons continued in 2017 as the Yellow Jackets ran thru the league table unscathed for a third straight campaign on the way to securing the top seed in the upcoming ODAC Volleyball Tournament. This marks the fourth straight season R-MC has owned top billing in the conference's eight-team tournament.

  • R-MC Tabbed Favorites in ODAC Volleyball Preseason Poll

    Two-time defending ODAC champion Randolph-Macon College opens the season as the favorite to capture a third straight trophy as the Yellow Jackets lead the ODAC Volleyball Preseason Poll. R-MC secured 10 first place votes and 118 total points in the annual survey of the league's head coaches. Washington and Lee University sits second with 109 tallies and one top nod, while Bridgewater College rounds out the top three with 97 points and the remaining first place vote.
