  • Shenandoah Announces Clayberg as Volleyball Head Coach

    Shenandoah University Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Bridget Lyons, Ph.D, announced Friday that Kent Clayberg has been hired as the university's new head volleyball coach.
  • Trio Represent ODAC Schools as Academic All-Americans

    Ferrum College running back Brian Mann, University of Lynchburg goalkeeper Delia LoSapio, and Randolph-Macon College midfielder Maddie Burns headline the ODAC's contingent of academic student-athlete honors from CoSIDA as the trio were tabbed Google Cloud Academic All-Americans from the fall seasons.
  • Generals Push Fourth-Ranked Tigers in NCAA First Round

    The Washington and Lee volleyball team pushed fourth-ranked Colorado College to the brink in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, but the Tigers escaped with a 3-2 victory. In her final collegiate match, senior libero Elly Cosgrove totaled a career-best 33 digs to lead the team.

    Washington and Lee University will be the ODAC's lone representative in the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament as the field of 64 teams was announced by the NCAA this afternoon.
  • Bridgewater, Washington and Lee Headline All-ODAC Volleyball Awards

    Bridgewater College earned three of the four special individual awards and Washington and Lee University took home five all-conference honors to headline the 2018 All-ODAC Volleyball Awards. Bridgewater outside hitter Rachel Gaston garnered two special laurels as she was named the ODAC Player of the Year in a vote of the league's head coaches in addition to earning ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete recognition from the conference's sports information directors. Eagles' mentor Erin Harris received ODAC Coach of the Year honors, and Roanoke College outside hitter Linsey Bailey was tabbed the ODAC Rookie of the Year.
  • Washington and Lee Outlasts Randolph-Macon for ODAC Title

    Second-seeded Washington and Lee University and top-seeded Randolph-Macon College traded jabs in the ODAC Volleyball Tournament championship match on Saturday afternoon in Ashland as each team won a set before a 15-8 result in the decisive fifth frame saw the Generals' captains lift the conference trophy.

  • ODAC Volleyball Tournament Field Set

    Randolph-Macon College sits atop the ODAC Volleyball Tournament field for a fifth straight season, but it was not as cut and dry as its previous top entries. The Yellow Jackets tied with Washington and Lee University at 11-1 in league play, which snapped R-MC's streak of three straight unbeaten conference schedules. Randolph-Macon, however, secured the #1 for a fifth straight season via its head-to-head win over the Generals in the regular season.

  • W&L Edges R-MC for Top Position in ODAC Volleyball Preseason Poll

    The 2018 season opens with one of tightest preseason polls in recent ODAC volleyball history as Washington and Lee University holds the top position by just one point over Randolph-Macon College in the annual coach's survey. The Generals garnered 139 total points powered by seven first place votes, while the three-time defending champion Yellow Jackets secured the remaining six top nods on the way to 138 tallies.
  • ODAC Announces 2017-18 Sportsmanship Teams

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2017-18 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in each of the conference's 24 sponsored sports. The squads are comprised of a student-athlete selected by the coaching staffs of each team competing under the conference banner with all sports and schools fully represented.
