LEXINGTON, Ky. --- Randolph-Macon senior outside hitter Grace Parker (Andover, NJ/Pope John XXIII) has been named the GameChanger/American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III National Player of the Week in Women's Volleyball. This comes just 24 hours after being named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season.

In just 12 total sets across three matches, Parker tallied 88 kills, adding to her total of 273 on the young season to lead the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Her 7.33 kills per set over the week keeps her as the conference leader in the category as well to add to her total points (306.5) and points per set (5.6) marks that also stand as conference best.

In addition to the numbers match-by-match, Parker eclipsed the 1,000 career kills mark in the first of three matches in the week. That match saw Parker record 31 kills in a four-set win on the road at Lynchburg. That number stands as the most kills of any player in Division III in a four-set match, while swinging at a .355 hitting percentage to go along with nine digs, two blocks and an ace.

R-MC returned home to see Ferrum in Crenshaw Gym and Parker picked up right where she left off, recording 23 kills at a .487 clip in just three sets to power the Yellow Jackets to their second win in as many matches on the week. The Ferrum match also saw Parker record four digs and a block.

Parker saved the best for last, as the final match of the week featured a record-setting performance against Roanoke. In a come-from-behind five-set thriller, Parker smashed 34 kills, tying the R-MC record for kills in a single match, to lead the late charge. The 34 kills stand as the most of any player across Division III in a single match of any length this season. The 34 winners also land fourth on the ODAC All-Time list for kills in a single match.

On the national scale, Parker now leads the nation in kills in a 5-set match (34), kills in a 4-set match (31), kills per set (4.96) and points per set (5.57) while also landing fifth in total kills (273) and sixth in total points (306.5).

Parker is now the second Randolph-Macon Women's Volleyball player to land the honor under Head Coach Bill Rogers.
