Huffman, a freshman from Virginia Beach, Virginia, led the Hornets to a 3-0 record last week, including two three-set victories over ODAC opponents. She averaged 2.88 kills per game and had a hitting percentage of .486. She also added four service aces and four blocks. She had 12 kills in 21 attempts Tuesday against Emory & Henry in a 3-0 ODAC win, and followed with seven kills and three aces in a 3-0 win over Roanoke. She added four more kills against Gallaudet to go with two blocks.

Katie Baker, Bridgewater College, Sophomore - Middle
Hitter
Baker finished with 20 kills to lead the Eagles to a 3-1
victory over Sweet Briar in BC's only match of the week. Baker
finished with a .586 hitting percentage and also added four
blocks.
Nicole Ropp, Eastern Mennonite University, Sophomore -
Middle Blocker
Ropp had 10 kills against Southern Virginia. She had 7
kills and 5 service aces in EMU's big win over Emory & Henry.
Her defensive presence at the net was also important against the
Wasps' 6-2 middle hitter, Rachel Fertitta.
Bethany Hawks, Guilford College, Senior - Libero
Hawks averaged 4.83 digs per set in the Quakers' 0-2 week,
which led the team... had a club-high 13 pickups versus Roanoke and
made 16 digs at Randolph-Macon.
Jessica Sears, Randolph-Macon College, Freshman - Outside
Hitter
Sears helped R-MC to a 2-0 week with 19 kills and 25
digs. In a 3-0 win over W&L, she had seven kills
and a team best 12 digs, helping the Jackets hand the
Generals just their second loss in the league since
2001. Sears capped her week with a 12 kill, 13 dig
performance against Guilford.
