Hayes, a junior from Boone, N.C., was a strong engine for Bridgewater's offense in a pair of victories last week a key ODAC triumph with in the regular season finale. Hayes dished out 79 assists at 9.88 per set and chipped in 22 assists (2.75/set) with five kills, two aces, and two blocks. She registered 41 assists with 12 digs, three kills and an ace in a 3-2 non-conference win over Mary Washington. That victory marked the first win for BC over UMW since the 2013 campaign. Hayes then handed out 38 assists at 12.67 per set and helped Bridgewater's offense to a .333 team attack percentage in a crucial 3-0 victory at Eastern Mennonite. She added 10 digs, two kills, two blocks, and an ace as the Eagles secured the fourth seed and an important hosting opportunity in the quarterfinals of the upcoming ODAC Tournament. For the season, Hayes is third in the ODAC in assists (779) and fourth in assists per set (8.95).
