Ariel, a senior from Fredericksburg, Va., was the first collegiate runner to finish at the ODAC Preview Meet hosted by Roanoke College at Green Hill Park in Salem, Va. Ariel placed second overall on the six-kilometer championship course, setting a new personal record at that distance with a time of 22:09.9. That time is the top 6K mark in the ODAC so far this season. She along with second-place collegiate finisher English Jackson (22:21.9) helped Bridgewater place seventh overall in the team standings with 194 points.
