Interviews with RC's Dunagan and GC's Palombo

It's going to be a busy weekend in ODAC athletics as several of the league's schools enter into first and/or second round action of their respective NCAA Division III Tournaments.  Men's and women's basketball also jumps into action on Sunday, providing Brad and J.J. with plenty of topics to speak about in this edition of the ODAC Podcast.  Interviews this week are with Roanoke women's basketball coach, Susan Dunagan, and Guilford men's basketball mentor, Tom Palombo.

Lynchburg has already found success in the NCAA tournament as the Hornets field hockey program posted a 5-3 win in its first round matchup against Juniata College.  LC travels to Pennsylvania to square off with Ursinus College on Saturday in the second round.  Lynchburg also has both of its soccer teams in action this weekend.  Virginia Wesleyan joins LC in the men's field, while the Marlins and Washington and Lee accompany the Hornets in the women's event.  In volleyball, Randolph-Macon made its trip to Southwestern University for regional play on Thursday.

In men's basketball, Guilford College collected 10 first place votes and 119 total points to earn the top slot in the 2009 ODAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll.  Virginia Wesleyan College and Randolph-Macon College tied for second with 103 total tallies.  The Marlins also received the remaining first place vote.

Roanoke College picked up 10 first place votes and 120 total poll points to earn the top billing in the 2009-10 ODAC Women's Basketball Preseason Poll.  Randolph-Macon College garnered the remaining first place vote and 109 tallies to hold down the second slot.  Eastern Mennonite was third with 82 poll points.
