FOOTBALL - DEFENSE

He returned his second pick 37 yards to the Battling Bishops' 39-yard line, setting up a SU scoring pass four plays later. Hill's first forced miscue came in the opening quarter when he jarred the ball loose from NCWC running back Deandre Gillis, who one play prior had scampered 32 yards to the SU 33-yard line. Hill tacked on two tackles and broke up three other passes to give him a team- and game-best five passes defensed. His efforts helped SU hold NCWC to 3-of-13 on third down conversions.
