Emory, Va. -- Danielle Duncan scored 22 points as Greensboro College defeated Lynchburg College, 88-51, on Saturday at the Emory & Henry Tournament. The Pride improved to 2-0 and LC dropped to 1-1.
Bianca Richburg tallied 12 points and Samantha Greene added 10 for GC. The Pride led at the half, 39-21.
"I'm really happy with our performance," GC Head Coach Randy Tuggle said. "We shot really well, and played good basketball. It was a good team effort."
The Pride shot 50-percent from the field, 80-percent from behind the arc and 82-percent from the free throw line.
GC faces the host Wasps on Sunday.
