SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Hallie Stewart, Randolph-Macon College
Stewart, a freshman from Midlothian, Va., was
undefeated in her swims over the weekend, leading the Yellow
Jackets to wins against Randolph-Macon Woman's College on Friday
and Juniata College on Saturday. Against the Wildcats in
Lynchburg, the first-year standout won the 100-yard backstroke
(1:03.64) by nearly three seconds, swam the beginning leg of the
winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:59.93), and anchored the
winning 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:51.38). On Saturday
in Ashland, Stewart touched the wall first in the 200-yard
individual medley (2:21.04) and the 200-yard backstroke
(2:15.95).
