BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MIKE LENOX, BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Lenox, a senior from Fredericksburg, Virginia, hit .600 (6-for-10) in doubleheader sweep of Messiah College. In the opener, he was 1-for-4 with a double. In the second game, he was 5-for-6 with a homer double and four RBI. He also picked up the save on the mound in the second game.

BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
JESSE BAKER, VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE
Baker, a junior from Virginia Beach, Virginia, moved to 3-0 on the season with a seven strong innings in a a 13-2 win over previously undefeated Christopher Newport University.  Baker allowed six hits two earned runs on the bump, walking one and fanning a pair.  For the season, he's won each of his three starts, totaling 18 innings of work and a 2.00 ERA. 

Baseball Honor Roll
John Sinclair, BC Sinclair was got a no-decision in Bridgewater's 9-8 victory over Messiah in the second game of a doubleheader. He allowed two runs, both unearned in six innings and left the game with a 6-2 lead.
Ethan Russell, EMU Russell went a full seven innings for his first win of the year; He allowed two runs (one earned) and four hits while walking five and striking out eight batters.
Drew Ward, GC Ward went 3-5 with four RBI in the Quakers' 11-5 win at Ferrum Feb. 25... broke open a 3-2 game with a grand slam in the fifth inning, his team-leading third homer of the season... also singled and doubled in the win.
Corey Landis, GC Landis tossed a complete-game three-hitter with three strikeouts in the Quakers' 11-5 win at Ferrum Feb. 25... allowed five runs, four of which were earned... retired nine of the Panthers' final 10 batters in order.

GOLFER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MIKE REDWOOD, BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Redwood, a sophomore from Virginia Beach, Virginia, shot rounds of 74 and 73 to tie for third place overall in a strong field at the Pine Needles Intercollegiate. Redwood's effort led the Eagles to a third-place finish in the 11-team tournament. 

Golf Honor Roll
Burton Wood, GC Wood paced the Quakers at the Pine Needles Intercollegiate with a 77-71-148 that placed seventh among 58 competitors, his third top-10 finish of the season... had the second lowest score of the second round.

MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JEFF KEATING, ROANOKE COLLEGE
Keating, a freshman from Chatham, New Jersey, led Roanoke last week with 10 goals along with two assists in three games.  He is currently leading the team in goals and second in scoring and shots.  He scored four goals in wins over Greensboro and Birmingham-Southern while notching two more in a victory over Franklin & Marshall. 

Men's LacrosseHonor Roll
Gates Benson, GC Benson had eight ground balls and three caused turnovers, both game highs, in the Quakers' 13-6 loss to Oneonta State... won a team-best four face-offs in 12 attempts.
Tyler Tolson, LC Tolson scored six times this weekend as the 10th-ranked Hornets defeated Ohio Wesleyan 9-8 Saturday and Colorado College 18-3 Sunday. He neeted three tallies Saturday and followed up with three more goals and an assist on sunday.
Adam Liberto, R-MC Adam Liberto led the Yellow Jackets to a 9-8 victory over defending NCAC champion Denison (ranked 15th in the USILA D-III Poll); faced 41 shots and saved 23, while picking up 2 ground balls in 60 minutes of work. The sophomore shut out the Big Red in the third quarter, making 10 saves and allowing R-MC to tie the game. He made five saves in the final stanza to secure the win.
Harry St. John, W&L St. John helped lead Washington and Lee to a 2-0 week by totaling four goals and one assist over the two games.  He had two goals and one assist in a 6-5 win over Mary Washington on Wednesday, then tallied a pair of goals in a 9-7 win over Colorado College on Saturday.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DEANNA WELSCH, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Welsch, a senior from Yorktown Heights, New York, led the way offensively Saturday as LC opened the season with a 17-4 win at Methodist, scoring three times and assisting on three others.  

Women's LacrosseHonor Roll
Katie Flippen, W&L Flippen led the No. 8 Generals to a 1-0 week as they defeated No. 13 Catholic, 10-9 on Saturday.  Flippen paced W&L with two goals and one assist.

SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CLARISSA NORWICH, ROANOKE COLLEGE
Norwich, a sophomore from Hegans, Pennsylvania, helped Roanoke to a 3-1 showing at the Methodist Early Bird Tournament by batting .500 over the four games. She collected at least one hit in each game, going 6-for-12 overall with three doubles, two runs scored and a pair of RBI.

SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
GRETCHEN WOLFE, ROANOKE COLLEGE
Wolfe, a sophomore from New Windsor, New York, tossed a three-hit shutout against #19 Methodist in her first start of the season.  Over seven innings, she faced just four batters over the minimum without surrendering a walk.  She also struck out 11 batters. 


MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MICHAEL FREEMAN, WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
Freeman, a freshman from Portland, Oregon, helped lead the Generals to a 3-0 week by winning all three of his singles matches. Freeman won the deciding match at No. 6 singles (6-2, 6-4) in a 5-4 win over 23rd-ranked Salisbury on Saturday. He then posted a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles in an 8-1 win over Bridgewater later on Saturday, before notching a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles in a 5-4 win over 24th-ranked Christopher Newport on Sunday. For the season, Freeman is 8-7 overall in singles play.

WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TRELSIE SADLER, WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
Sadler, a freshman from Wakefield, Rhode Island, ODAC-play with straight-set win at No. 2 singles over Bridgewater and a win at No. 2 doubles...played No.1 singles in 9-0 win over Guilford and did not drop a game, also won a No.1 doubles over the Quakers.
