J.T. Williamson, Randolph-Macon, Freshman, Pitcher

Williamson, a freshman from Springfield, Va., came out of the bullpen to earn his first conference win of the year for the Yellow Jackets.  He pitched the final three innings against Eastern Mennonite, allowing only one hit and one walk while striking out a pair of his three scoreless frames.  Williamson is now 2-1 on the season, having also earned a win in the season's opening game against St. Mary's (Md.).

Baseball Pitcher Honor Roll

Micah Winterstein, Guilford, Senior
Winterstein threw 3.1 innings of scoreless relief of Guilford’s 3-2 win over Lynchburg, but did not factor in the decision.  He helped Guilford stay in the game with his scoreless, late-inning relief work.  He entered the game with two outs in the eighth and the go-ahead run on first.  He yielded only two hits, one walk and left four runners stranded.  Winterstein enabled Guilford to claim its first win over the Hornets since 2006.

Michael Mansfield, Lynchburg, Sophomore
Mansfield registered his ODAC-leading fourth save of the season against Guilford College on Sunday in the second game of the doubleheader. He only relinquished one hit in the ninth inning and struck out one.
