Borja Jones-Berasaluce, Guilford, Sophomore, Pitcher

Jones-Berasaluce, a sophomore from Newton, Mass., tossed his first complete game of the season, a career-long nine-inning win at Hampden-Sydney.  He fanned a season-high five and walked one in the seven-hit victory.  He held the Tigers to a .212 batting average, which helped the Quakers end a three-game losing skid with its 13-1 triumph.

Baseball Pitcher Honor Roll

Corey Amentrout, Bridgewater, Freshman
Armentrout picked up his second win of the season over a Top 25 with a solid performance in an 8-4 win over No. 21 Thomas More. Armentrout pitched six innings and allowed just one earned run. He allowed five hits while striking out three and walking two. He also entered the game against Va. Wesleyan with the Eagles holding a 3-1 lead and pitched one hitless inning with one strikeout.

James Womack, Lynchburg, Sophomore
Womack made three appearances last week, giving up three hits in six innings of work while allowing only one run. He earned the win against Randolph-Macon, pitching four innings, relinquishing only one hit while preserving the two-run win. He issued only two walks last week and struck out seven.

Ryan Wood, Randolph-Macon, Senior
Wood earned the victory in a 6-4 win over Lynchburg.  He entered in relief with the bases load and no outs and went on to retire his batters in order to work R-MC out of a big jam.  He totaled 3.0 innings of work on the week, allowing no runs on two hits with three strikeouts in three apperances.
