Andrew Hacker, Bridgewater, Junior, 1st Base

Hacker, a junior from Mechanicsville, Va., hit .565 on the week to help lead the Eagles to a 5-1 record. Hacker had five straight multiple hit games during the week. He was 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs in an 8-4 win over nationally ranked Thomas More. He was 5-for-7 in a DH split with Husson and had the game-winning RBI in the 3-1 win over Husson. He was 2-for-4 with the game-winning RBI over Aurora. Hacker finished 3-for-5 with a run and two RBIs as the Eagles opened conference play with a 10-3 win over Va. Wesleyan.

Baseball Player Honor Roll

Beau Banglesdorf, Eastern Mennonite, Senior, Shortstop/Outfielder
Banglesdorf batted 12-for-29 for a .414 batting average.  He scored 6 runs and collected 9 RBIs.  In a 7-2 in over Juniata while in Florida, Banglesdorf went a perfect 4-for-4 from the dish with two stolen bases, scoring three times.  In a doubleheader against Pitt-Greensburg, he went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs each game.  Then in an ODAC twinbill with Emory & Henry, he had a pair of RBIs in each contest, knocking a two-run double in the opener followed by a two-run triple in the nightcap.  Banglesdorf is batting .370 on the season, and is second for EMU in runs, doubles and RBIs.  He also leads the team and conference with his three triples.

Casey Mann, Guilford, Junior, Outfielder
Mann led the Quakers with a .450 batting average, five runs, nine hits, two doubles, a .650 slugging percentage, a .560 on-base percentage and three stolen bases in Guilford’s 2-4 week.  He had four multi-hit games, which gives him a team-high nine multi-hit games this season.

Richie Palase, Lynchburg, Senior, Outfielder
Palase had a productive five game last week, hitting .438 with a slugging percentage of .750. Primarily used in the top of the order, he had seven hits, three doubles, the game-winning triple against Randolph-Macon and four total RBI. He also stole two bases and walked four times.

Jordan Walton, Randolph-Macon, Senior, First Base
Walton went 7-for-18 (.389) in Randolph-Macon's 1-3 week.  He cracked two doubles, scorer four runs and drove in three others.  He opened his week with a four-hit two-RBI day against St. Mary's.
