Morrison, a junior from High Point, N.C., posted a win and a save while throwing 10.1 innings over three games to start the season for the Quakers. He picked up his victory in an 11-0 triumph over NCAA Division II Bluefield State. He tossed six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and a walk while fanning seven. He picked up his first save of the year on Saturday against Berry College, preserving a 10-9 win with 1.1 innings of work. He gave up two runs in that stint, the same amount he surrendered in three innings during his opening outing at Piedmont. He fanned three in that appearance.

Adam Posey, Eastern Mennonite (Sr. - Poquoson,
Va.)
Posey opened his season with six strong innings to
earn a 2-1 win over N.C. Wesleyan in the Royals opener. He
gave up one run on six hits. He struck out seven Bishops.
Brandon Miller, Lynchburg (Jr. - Vesuvius, Va.)
Miller pitched in both halves of the Hornets'
doubleheader sweep of Averett. He picked up a three-inning
save in game one, giving up two hits and two walks while fanning
four in a 17-4 win. Miller entered game two in the sixth
inning with two runners out. After giving up a hit, he got
the final out to allow LC to go on to win 3-2 and secure his first
victory of the year.
