Nick Corbin, Bridgewater, Sr., Pitcher

Corbin, a senior from Staunton, Va., put together a nine-inning complete game effort in the Eagles 5-1 conference win over Guilford College.  Corbin scattered seven hits and walked three batters while surrendering just one unearned run.  He fanned a pair of Quakers along the way.  Now 3-0 on the season, Corbin has thrown 18 innings without allowing an earned run.

Kyle Salladay, Eastern Mennonite (Fr., P - Chesapeake, Va.)
Salladay made a pair of relief appearances for the Royals, throwing 4.1 innings of scoreless ball in a pair of EMU wins.  He gave up just one hit and fanned five batters.

Nick Blackwood, Guilford (So., P - Greensboro, N.C.)
Blackwood tossed four scoreless innings of relief over two games for the Quakers.  He gave up one hit in each appearance, striking out five total batters.  He went three scoreless innings against Shenandoah (L, 4-2).

Hunter Lewis, Hampden-Sydney (Sr., P - Newport News, Va.)
Lewis went the distance in the Tigers 12-2 league win over Roanoke College, a part of a split with the Maroons.  Lewis gave up two runs (one earned) on eight hits in his nine innings on the bump.  He struck out three batters, giving him 32 punchouts in 29 innings so far this season.  His record stands at 4-0.

Daniel Byrd, Randolph-Macon (So., P - Chesterfield, Va.)
Byrd threw five scoreless innings towards his second victory of the year in a 3-0 league win over Washington and Lee.  He gave up five hits and walked a batter while fanning four Generals.  

Vince Claudio, Shenandoah (Sr., P - Forest, Va.)
Claudio still has yet to give up an earned run this season as he tacked on seven frames of six-hit ball in an 8-2 win over Guilford.  He surrendered two unearned tallies while walking one and striking out eight Quakers.  He's now 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 20.2 innings of work.
