Crawford, a junior from Newport, Tenn., helped the Quakers to their first sweep of Washington and Lee University since 2008 by firing eight strong innings in game two of their doubleheader. Crawford scattered six hits and allowed two runs without walking a batter. He fanned three Generals and retired 17 of the last 18 batters he faced, including 16 straight. Crawford is now 2-2 on the season with a 4.65 earned run average in covering six appearances (four starts) and 31.0 innings of work.

Robert Gallet, Bridgewater (Sr., RHP - Stafford,
Va.)
Gallet worked 1.1 innings in the Eagles' 5-2 loss to
Thomas More, but came back with seven shutout innings of two-hit
ball in an 8-0 win over Daniel Webster. He walked two and
struck out seven in picking up his first win of the season.
Trevor Otey, Hampden-Sydney (Fr., LHP - Williamsburg,
Va.)
Otey threw eight strong innings in a 10-1 win over
Birmingham Southern. He gave up one run on five hits with a
walk and four punchouts. He threw an inning in a 15-12 loss
to Shenandoah, giving up one unearned run on one hit.
Matt Fischgrund, Ranodlph-Macon (Sr., RHP -
Gloucester, Va.)
Fischgrund picked up his first win of the season in
a 13-3 victory over EMU. He went six innings and gave up two
runs (one earned) on seven hits while walking five and striking out
seven.
Rawlings Cumbea, Roanoke (Fr., RHP - Midlothian,
Va.)
Cumbea tossed the final three innings of a 9-4 over
William Peace to earn a save. He gave up two hits and struck
out six batters while walking one.
Cameron Lundmark, Shenandoah (So., RHP - Lorton,
Va.)
Lundmark made three appearances in relief last week,
tossing 4.2 total innings and giving up two runs on four hits with
six strike outs. He went 2.2 innings in a 15-12 win over
H-SC, surrendering just one hit while fanning four.
Will Hickey, Virginia Wesleyan (Fr., P - New Hyde
Park, N.Y.)
Hickey made three appearances for Virginia Wesleyan,
including his first collegiate start. In that game, which VWC
won 7-2 over Earlham, he tossed nine complete innings, giving up
two runs on six hits while walking six and fanning nine. He
struck out four batters in 1.2 innings of work against Averett
earlier in the week.
