Lindsay Leonard, Lynchburg, Sr., Midfielder

Leonard, a senior from Yorktown, Va., picks up her second straight weekly honor after she helped Lynchburg to a 2-1 week with its lone loss coming to 14th-ranked Christopher Newport.  The senior co-captain opened her week with all three goals in a 3-0 conference win over Eastern Mennonite University.  She followed that with two goals in a 9-1 triumph over Bridgewater.  Against CNU, she fired seven shots, all on the Captains' cage, as LC outshot CNU, 15-7, in a 1-0 loss.

Field Hockey Honor Roll

Taylor Prillaman, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Fr, F - Magnolia, Del. , 4)
Prillaman helped the Eagles to a 1-1 week in ODAC play. Prillaman netted the first goal of the game in Bridgewater's 3-2 overtime victory on Tuesday at Shenandoah. In the final game of the week at #19 Lynchburg, Prillaman gave Bridgewater the early lead with her ninth goal of the season in a 9-1 loss to the Hornets. Prillaman's goal extends her scoring streak to five consecutive games which is the longest streak of its type in more than a dozen years for the field hockey program and is the longest streak in the ODAC this season.

Carrie Jacobs, Randolph-Macon -
(So, D - Orange, VA, 18)
Jacobs led the R-MC field hockey program to a 1-1 record last week. Against St. Mary's she led the team with four total shots (two on goal) and was awarded the only penalty shot of the match. During the match at EMU, Jacobs scored what proved to be the game-winner at the 52 minute mark when she took a pass from teammate Mackenzie Turner and beat EMU goalkeeper, Ferrier. Jacobs leads the team in goals and points with seven and sixteen respectively. 

Allison Denton, Roanoke - (Fr, MF - Edmond, OK, 16)
Denton scored a hat trick in the Maroons first ODAC win on Saturday, a 7-1 triumph over Sweet Briar.

Alexandra Darrow, Shenandoah -
(Fr, F - Chesapeake, Va., 22)
Helped the Hornets to a 1-1 week with an assist in a 3-2 loss to Bridgewater and a pair of assists in a 3-2 win over Virginia Wesleyan.
