Christina Herbert, Bridgewater, Jr.

Herbert, a junior from Williamsburg, Va., started off the season in winning fashion as she claimed medalist honors at each of her first two events.  Herbert tied for the lead at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational by tying her career-low round with 69 on the second day. She went on to win the tiebreaker with a par on the first playoff hole.  Her 3-over par 145 led Bridgewater to fifth in the team standings, which included rebounding from a 352 in the opening round to 310 on the final day.  Herbert added her second medal at the one round Shenandoah Invitational.  Her 2-under 70 was seven strokes better than the second place finisher.  Bridgewater won the team title by 27 strokes over Marymount (Va.).
