Emmy Saathoff, Randolph-Macon, Sr.

Saathoff, a senior from Catonsville, Md., competed twice for the Yellow Jackets last week, posting a pair of top-10 finishes. She opened by tying for sixth place at the Max and Susan Stith Invite hosted by Randolph-Macon at The Dominion Club. Saathoff posted rounds of 84 and 88 for a 28-over 172 total after 36 holes on the par 72 layout set at 5,809 yards. She was 25 shots off winner Erica Whitehouse from Christopher Newport. Randolph-Macon placed third as a team at 190-over 766 (393-373). Saathoff then improved two places in tying for fourth at the UMW Eagle Invitational hosted by Mary Washington at Augustine Golf Club in Stafford, Va. Saathoff posted a pair of 83's on the par 71 track set at 5,871 yards. She put her in a tie with Shenandoah's Natalie Hill at 24-over 166. Randolph-Macon finished fifth of 10 teams at 185-over 753 (368-385).
