Jones, a sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., picks up her first spring ODAC weekly honor and fourth overall on the year after tying for third overall out of 43 golfers at the Piedmont Spring Invitational hosted by Piedmont College at The Orchard Golf & Country Club in Clarkesville, Ga. Jones locked with three other players in third position at 15-over 159, which finished seven strokes off the pace by medalist Jillian Drinkard from Methodist University. Jones was consistent over her two rounds on the par 72 track set at 5,807 yards. She opened with an 8-over 80 before knocking one shot off her score in round two with a 7-over 79. Washington and Lee, ranked 16th in the latest Division III rankings by Golfstat, finished second of seven squads at 78-over 654 (326-328). Tenth-ranked Methodist won the event at 53-over 629.
