Dana Lee, Washington and Lee, Jr., Sprints/Jumps

Lee, a junior from Nashville, Tenn., continues to shine during the indoor campaign.  Lee won three events and broke two school records at the Sweetheart Multi-Mix Madness hosted by Navy. She won the 60-meter dash in a W&L record time of 7.94. It broke her own 60m record of 8.06. Lee won the 400-meter dash in a time of 0:57.50. Since the race was held on a 200-meter banked track, any time in a race at or over 200m has to be converted to a 200m flat track time for W&L record keeping purposes. Lee's converted time was 0:58.27, which broke the school record of 0:58.83 set by Janey Fugate in 2015. Lee also won the long jump with a leap of 5.53m (18'01.75").  Lee's 60m time is second in the ODAC by 0.01 seconds, while her 400m mark now tops the conference charts.  Her leap of 5.53m in the long jump is second only to her own top season-best mark (5.59m).
