Henson, a senior from Glen Alpine, North Carolina, averaged 29.0
points and 7.0 three-pointers per game in Guilford's 2-0 week. He
shot 61 percent from the floor in the two games, including 58.3%
from beyond the arc. He had five assists and only two turnovers in
59 minutes over the two games. Henson hit for a game- and
season-high 30 points and knocked down eight three-pointers (on 12
attempts) in Guilford's win over Roanoke. His three-pointers stand
second in school history. He made six threes in the final 6:15 of
the first half, and also dished out three assists and grabbed two
rebounds in the win. Henson followed two days later with a
game-high 28 points fueled by six three-pointers in Guilford's win
over Bridgewater. He made 11-of-18 field goals for the second
straight game, including six-of-12 from three-point land. He added
four boards and two assists in the game. Henson has seven 20-point
games this year and is currently third in the league in scoring at
18.7 points per game.
