Horne, a junior from Charlotte, N.C., helped the Quakers pick up four ODAC team victories by going a combined 8-0 in singles and doubles play. Horne partnered with Jay Montague at #2 doubles in each. In a 5-4 team win over Randolph-Macon, the duo enjoyed an 8-1 doubles triumph. They won 8-6 to help GC to an 8-1 victory over Lynchburg. The pair were back at it in another nailbiter with their 8-3 doubles win contributing to a 5-4 team triumph over Bridgewater. Guilford topped Roanoke 9-0 in the final match of the week, picking a point from Horne and Montague after they won 8-3 in doubles play. In singles action at the third position, Horne recovered for a 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 win against R-MC. He picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win over Lynchburg and followed with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-0 victory against BC. Horne capped his week with a 6-2, 6-2 win against Roanoke.
