Seventeen ODAC Stars Qualify for NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The ODAC saw sixteen stars compete at the indoor national championships. Increase that total by one as 17 conference standouts learned they will be competing at the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend in Rochester, N.Y., at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex at St. John Fisher University.

The ODAC's contingent of athetes includes 13 men's competitors -- tied for the second-most to represent the ODAC at the outdoor event -- and four women's stars. Seven will compete in multiple individual events with an eighth participating in the women's heptathlon.

On the women's side of the ledger, Bridgewater sprinter Adalia Coleman and University of Lynchburg hurdler and jumper Aniya Seward will feature twice. Seward's first-year teammate Kacey Kelley will join her in the triple jump field, while Eastern Mennonite University's Ray Ray Taylor will go up against the best in the heptathlon.

In the men's competition, Shenandoah University is sending a school-record six athletes to Rochester. Sprinter Miles Moore will feature in three events including the 4x100-meter relay where he will be joined by William Crowder, Andre Jackson, and Wyatt Newcome. Also making the trip as an alternate on the 4x100 relay is Noah Eglin. Thrower Tucker Kindig rounds out the Hornets group.

Lynchburg's Sam Llaneza will compete twice, while teammate Tor Hotung-Davidsen will join him in the 800-meter run field. Fellow Hornet Frank Csorba will run in the 5K. Bridgewater thrower Peter Fulton will heave apparatus in two events, while sprinter Kyle Clanton joins the 100-meter dash field.

Virginia Wesleyan University multi All-American will try to add two more high honors in the long and triple jumps. Roanoke College's Brady Fowler will also compete twice in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. Washington and Lee University's Evan Langhammer caps his first year with a berth in the pole vault field.

For reach individual event, the top-22 ranked athletes were accepted into the competition. Each relay event will feature the top-16 rated entries. The overall performance lists can be found at TFRRS.org with the accepted entries lists posted above.
