Rachad Davis, Lynchburg, Junior

Davis, a junior from Virginia Beach, Va., climbed both the ODAC and NCAA Division III performance lists following a strong showing at the Virginia Commonwealth Duals hosted by Lynchburg College.  Davis finished second to an unattached runner in the 110-meter hurldes, posted an ODAC top time of 14.98 seconds.  That currently stands eighth in the country.  Davis came back with a victory in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.89, setting another conference-best time and ranking sixth in the nation.  Davis also helped the 4x100-meter relay team to a second place finish in 42.51-seconds.

Jacob Wright, Bridgewater College - (Sophomore, Sprints - Manassas, Va)
At this past weekend's Virginia Commonwealth Duals hosted by Lynchburg College, Wright finished runner-up in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.98 seconds, right behind Sean Bernstein of Oneonta who is currently ranked #2 in the country. That finishing time now ranks Wright 23rd in the country. The Manassas, Va. native was also the anchor in the 4x100 meter relay that took home the gold with a time of 42.35 seconds, ranking them 11th in the country.

Jordan King, Eastern Mennonite - (Junior, High Jump - Dalton, OH)
King won the high jump at the Commonwealth Duals hosted by CNU, clearing 1.99m (6-6.25ft). King nearly broke the EMU outdoor record, settling for second place in school history by only 0.04m. King, the ODAC indoor high jump champion and EMU indoor high jump record holder, also has the second-best outdoor jump in the ODAC this season.

Chad Norton, Guilford College - (Jr., - Walled Lake, Mich.)
At the Raleigh Relays, Norton posted the ODAC's fastest time in the 10,000-meter run this season with a mark of 31:57.48.  He finished 10th overall in a meet largely comprised of NCAA Division I and II schools.

Harrison Toney, Roanoke - (Fr., - Roanoke, VA)
Toney won the 3000-meter Steeplechase in 9:45.70 at the Commonwealth Duals hosted by CNU. His time breaks the previous school record by seven seconds set 10 years ago. Toney is ranked second in the ODAC and 33rd in the country.

Evan Griffin, Shenandoah - (Jr, Thrower - Annandale, Va.)
At the Commonwealth Duals hosted by Christopher Newport, Griffin won the shot put (13.59m), discus (42.36m) and hammer throw (44.07m) events, while placing third in the javelin (47.34m).  Griffin's marks stand sixth (shot), third (discus) and eighth (javelin) in the ODAC seasonal rankings.

Travis Oliver, Virginia Wesleyan College - (SO, Jumps - Hampton, Va.)
Oliver set a VWC record in the triple jump while competing in the Commonwealth Duals hosted by Christopher Newport University. He finished second in the event with a distance of 13.58 meters (44' 6.75"). That broke the previous record of 43-10.5 that he set in 2012. His leap is currently the best in the ODAC and is 17th nationally.

Dillon Myers, Washington and Lee - (Jr., - Foxborough, Mass.)
Myers led the Generals at the Commonwealth Duals on Saturday with three individual Top 2 finishes, and was part of the 4x400m relay that took the top spot. Myers claimed first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.57. He tied for second with classmate Mitchell Thompson in the high jump with a mark of 1.74 meters (5'08.50"). In the 110-meter hurdles, Myers claimed second in 16.37. The quartet of Myers, first-year Thomas Dunbar and junior Kane Thomas and Zander Tallman finished first in the 4x400m in 3:22.11. The 4x400m relay time is the fastest in the ODAC this season.
