Zander Tallman, Washington and Lee, Junior

Tallman, a junior from Grand Blanc, Mich., posted a new ODAC time top in a pair of events at the Johnson C. Smith Invitational.  He placed fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.93, which is 1.24 seconds faster than the next ranked runner in the ODAC.  That time is also tied for fourth in the country.  Tallman also joined teammates Parker Howard, Dillon Myers and Thomas Dunbar in the 4x400-meter dash.  Tallman ran the anchor leg to help the team to a third place finish with a new ODAC top time of 3:20.05.  That ranks 21st in the country.  Tallman also ran the 100-meter dash at the meeting, posting a personal season-best time of 11.27 seconds.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field Honor Roll

Chad Norton, Guilford College - (Jr., Distance - Walled Lake, Mich.)
At Aggie Invitational, Norton won his heat of the 800-meter run with a time of 1:57.40, marking the fourth fastest in the ODAC this year.  It is the fastest Guilford 800 meter time this season, as he beat five Division I runners along the way.

Randy Lott, Virginia Wesleyan College - (Junior, Sprinter - Virginia Beach)
Lott set at VWC record in the 100-meter dash by posting at time of 10.69, the fastest to date in the ODAC. He posted the time at the Division I dominated Norfolk State University Relays. Lott's time is currently the eighth fastest among Division III athletes nationally. Lott was also part of VWC's record-setting 4x100 relay which set a time of 43.00, breaking the old mark of 43.18.  He also ran the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.80, second only in the ODAC to his own top time (21.69).
