Senger, a junior from Bridgewater, Va., put together a strong day in all four throws at the Bridgewater Invitational.  She won both the hammer throw and discus, while placing third in the shot put and fourth in the javelin.  Her throw of 44.51 meters in the hammer broke her own BC record and ranks third in the ODAC this season.  She heaved the discus 41.72 meters to take over top position in the ODAC and rank 19th nationally.  Senger capped her day with throws of 10.79 meters in the shot and 30.95 meters in the javelin, the former ranking fourth in the ODAC.

Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Field Events Honor Roll

Becca Benfield, Guilford (Jr. - Throws)
Benfield placed sixth and 11th i the shot put and discus, respectively, at the Aggie Invitational. She heaved the shot 10.06 meters, which is the second-best mark in GC history. She added a throw of 22.46 meters in the discus.

Shanice Clarke, Lynchburg (Sr. - Jumps)
Clarke finished second in the triple jump and third in the long jump at the Bridgewater Invitational. She leaped 10.54 meters in the triple, tying her own ODAC third-best mark.  She reached a distance of 5.12 meters in the long jump, which is 0.01 meters farther than her previous best, ranking fifth in the conference.
