Katelyn Senger, Bridgewater, Sr., Throws

Senger, a senior from Bridgewater, Va., picks up her second straight weekly award after winning twice and finishing second twice in all four throws at the Jopson Invitational. Senger reset her own ODAC and Bridgewater school records in the discus with a heave of 44.49 meters (145' 11.0"), eclipsing the 43.81-meter throw she had in 2015. She also won the javelin after throwing the spear 30.90-meters (101' 4.0"). That ranks fourth in the ODAC. Senger added second place showings in the shot put and hammer throw, posting marks of 11.04 meters (36' 2.75") and 36.28 meters (119' 0.0"), respectively. Her shot put distance is third in the league, while her hammer throw is about a meter short of her previous season-best, which is also third on the conference charts.

Paige Olausen, Roanoke (So. - Throws)
Olausen placed seventh in the javelin at the VertKlasse Meeting, setting a new school-record at 39.97 meters (131' 2.0"). That mark ranks second in the ODAC and ninth in NCAA Division III this season.

Danyelle McGrady, Shenandoah (Sr. - Throws)
McGrady threw twice and won twice at the Battlefield Relays over the weekend. She established a new school-record and became just the second ODAC thrower to crack 40 meters in the discus as she won the event with a throw of 40.34 meters (132' 4.0"), which ranks second in the ODAC. She won the javelin with a toss of 36.60 meters (120' 1.0").

Michelle Yates, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr. - Throws)
Yates threw twice at the Battleground Relays and once at the Colonial Relays. She won the shot put with a heave of 11.91 meters (39' 1.0"), which is tops in the ODAC this season. She finished ninth in the discus at 29.88 meters (97' 11.0"). At the Colonial Relays, she finished 18th in the hammer at 34.70 meters (113' 10"), which is sixth in the ODAC.
